Sen. Bernie Sanders - The War Against Working Families

Can I just ask you exactly who are the economists and political thinkers that you follow in order to come up with your idea of America and capitalism?
Well, one influential economist among the political right is Art Laffer (major force in shaping Reagonomics aka "voodoo economics" and economic adviser to John McCain). It is from Laffer that they get the myth that tax cuts don't have to be accounted for in the budget, so you can just keep cutting taxes, especially for the rich, with no ill effect to government finances.
Some of the more intellectually-minded conservatives (especially on the libertarian side) are fans of the Austrian school thinkers such as Hayek and Mises.
As far as political thinkers, they have a hodge-podge of contradictory influences, which is in large part a reflection of the broad coalition on the right, which includes several different camps which are sometimes pursuing opposing goals.

To me, there is little difference between most Democrats and Republicans. The big difference is between sellouts and genuine politicians.
There are far too many sellouts in Washington, while there's only a couple of genuine ones. People like Ron Paul, Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich. They may vary greatly on political thoughts, but at least they stand for convictions of the people vs. the corporations and the plutocracy.

The three you mentioned all aren't very good.
The main difference between Dems and Republicans is that the Democrat party can largely be summed up as the party of Voter Fraud, Acorn, Unions, and organized crime. Republicans have their issues, but they are nowhere near as corrupt as the democrats.
Furthermore, it looks like Republicans are serious about cleaning up D.C., unlike the Democrats which brought in Chicago Politics.
The party of caging, of voter suppression, of Diebold... hmmmm....
Yes, I'm sure Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and someone whom died in the Civil War are all having their rights violated by not having their votes counted...

People did that just to get more money from the voter registration organisations... Donald Duck didn't exactly show up to vote. Now, if ACORN and like organisations had the wherewithal to pay their employees better... by the way, I know in the USA there's a movement towards paying public employees slave wages. This will of course guarantee that every time someone needs a public service, they will be asked to "grease my palm with silver". Naturally there would be howls of protest about this. Naturally. Like when the IMF whines about corruption in Third World countries and demand that public servants take a huge wage cut, thus making survival dependent on bribery. Then they go on about how the darkies just can't cut it.
