Given the boarding up is designed to protect shops when no-one is present, it does indicate a level of deception in the more recent statement regarding "MAGAs" and property...Or was the deception in the statement that the shopfronts were "ready for the MAGA stampede"?

The shopkeepers were naturally protecting their investments.

The photo you enthusiastically presented back here was taken before the election

So, to clarify, which of these was the "true" statement:

Given the later was related to protecting property (not lives) from "MAGAs"?

If the former is true, then the latter must have been a lie given the indication property was being protected from "MAGAs" contradicts the assertion MAGAs were a risk to life and not property
Similarly, were the latter true, then the former was a lie for similar reasons.

it's a strange situation. Those who predicted that "MAGAs" would commit firghtful acts of violence, seem dissapointed or embarassed that nothing of the sort happened. Whereas others are gloating that no such violence took place. Whereas most should just breathe a sigh of relief.

I thought there would be trouble and I’m relieved,not disappointed.We had enough of that.But some of the flakier ones are making violent threats.Like the sheriff in the county next to me.It does make me slightly nervous when law officials threaten to take out Democrat’s.
