I am honestly not that impressed with Sessions's alleged perjury. It was clear that Franken was asking that question in the context of the 2016 campaign, and whether Sessions was sending messages between Trump and the Russians. Likely, Sessions did not think of the 2 legitimate meetings he had with the Russian ambassador, with whom many members of Congress on both sides of the aisle have met and probably just one of many countries' ambassadors he's met, because it didn't fit within that context. So I'm just not seeing the intent to lie and mislead.

There's nothing legitimate with this as has been the case with the whole series of Russia connection allegations.
I think the plan is to build a false history of scandal to bring up in 2020. There's always been a very obvious intended goal to either remove the President from office or to keep him from being reelected.

Kinda like how Republicans didn't want Obama reelected?

And like how the Democrats didn't want Bush reelected and so on down through history. The point is, that's likely what all the Russia nonsense is over.

Who says it's nonsense, other than partisan Republicans?

All this treason talk is hyperbole.

Trump is just a dumbass deal maker at times who sometimes gets his allies wrong.

He's consistently incompetent and his staff are filled with people who had improper contact with Russian officials. We'll see how long he lasts. If he's in office this time next year I owe you a drink.

Those are the biggest crowds in the history of marches. Clearly your liberal bias is making most of the proud Americans screaming 'hail victory! o/' invisible. Biggest landslide since Raygun, most popular president since Washington and restored greatness is just around the corner (like in Iraq, where stability is just around the next corner).

There was a nice turnout for the Trump rally in Cleveland.
I couldn't go because I had to deliver artwork to two different art galleries today.

I do based on what I have seen so far. And all I have seen so far are accusations and conjecture. People here and elsewhere will say things like "it all adds up" "where there's smoke there's fire" etc. But none of that is evidence. It's all suspicion and speculation and no substance. I've been waiting 3 months now for something solid to be presented. Instead all there's just been is a lot of conflation of more of the same. That's my personal take on it.

Trump has an established track record of sounding like he's talking out of his ass and making absurd stuff up - and then it turns out he was right after all.

Things like censoring books against what they consider "family values" or showing how cruel real life really is. http://www.ala.org/bbooks/sites/ala.org.bbooks/files/content/2015BannedList.pdf

Or being in the idea that the only "correct" lifestyle is a man and a woman with kids in a house.

Being against everything that is from other cultures.

The "keep politics out of games" of gamergate to the point of threats of rape and death simply because some women express their political opinions talking about video games.

Going against Dungeon and Dragons because it contain demons and saying that game lead to satanism. (Even though demons are defined as evil in the game)

Going against Harry Potter because, they say, it lead to witchcraft.

And so on

So the NYT doesn't believe Obama bugged Trump Tower because there is 'no proof' but they believe they believe & report whole heartedly that Trump is doing something illegal with the Russians with absolutely zero proof, makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

It's time to lock up Obama the wannabe third world dictator and all his criminal accomplishes who desperately cling to power. These people are breaking the law and basically just daring anybody to do anything about it, eventually push is going to come to shove.

How do I tell others how to live? By insisting everyone has civil rights that are to be respected by everyone else?

So having huge unregulated corporate interests running roughshod over everyone except the most technologically savvy = FREEDOM

I don't intend to get hyperbolic with that. Taking another buzzsaw to regulations, putting in a cabinet of people who oppose the agencies they now lead, keeping all the most expensive parts of Obamacare and eliminating all the cost saving parts, throwing more money at the people who have the most of it, and giving in to extortion from Apple and other corporations with vast bankrolls currently sitting in tax havens.

The funny thing about tax havens: not just the depositors, but the banks also get a lot of freedom. They get to invest with - let's face it - essentially no oversight, and people get into some truly appalling investments. Piracy, evidently, used to have a great ROI.

This is not a liberal vs conservative issue. It's the people who don't own corporations vs the corporations. AHEM
