Taoist, though you could say I'm a non-denominational (not a Quanzhen Taoist by far, for example).

I also firmly believe that Lao Tzu was autistic.

Well, what we *have* discovered with this poll is what many of us have longtime suspected: atheists/agnostics *would* in fact like cheese with their whine.

I choose other.

I believe in the bible as the word of God, a honest report written by honest people, detailing their outer ordinary experiences.

God is all powerful in the sense that he is able to do whatever he wants to do. God is not omnipresent but lives in heaven (most likely outside/beyond our universe).

I'm unitarian (non/anti-trinitarian): I believe that Jezus was a created creature. That the holy spirit is not a person but a tool that God uses in our universe.

I reject the idea that we have an immortal soul. Upon death we cease to exist, all of us is gone. Our only hope is in a recreation by God. Notice that we are not our hardware but software: We replace nearly every molecule of our body every year. Our matter is not relevant, its the structure and activity that makes us who we are.

Annihilationism: There is no hell: In the end there is only existence (life) and non-existence (death).

I accept the theory of evolution (populations change over time), but reject universal common decent. I consider common design to be a better explanation. Yes, this means that life is really advanced technology and that we are in a sense AI's. Most of what we call nature is not really natural (in the scientific sense).

I could continue but this is enough for now.

It's only to their believers that it's impossible to disprove gods.

For the rest of us, Occam's razor and a sufficient understanding are enough.

Add a little bread to my cheese and wine order.

And some faithfuls prefer a rather tasteless thin wafer with their whine when a dab of peanut butter and jelly would probably put them in a better mood.

^ Now that one with the thin wafer was a stroke of genius, nice one Sand. :p But even so, the faithfuls don't get to drink the wine ;P The priest does.

None of the above.

The closest I even come to would probably be agnostic.

However I do have my acknowledgment of a possible God and Jesus existing but I'm always cursing them relentlessly for the kind of f**ked up person they made me be for pointless reasons unexplained. I only go to church as an occassional courtesy to friends and family and will "play along" with whatever's going on at their masses. But I don't have to buy into it or really support it. I allow my mind to think about other things during masses and such. Ya know lip service.

I'm not a complete Atheist either. I don't care if you're a Christian or a Muslim or whatever. I won't get on your ass for whatever deity you worship and call you a ret*d. And I won't attack you for preaching in a public square. Ignorance is bliss. I have no obligation to stand around and debate views I couldn't care less for. Though sometimes I find it entertaining to watch. I know that Asperger's and socially demanding religions (like Evangelical Christianity) just dont mix so I might be iffy towards the door-to-door evangelicals.

I do condemn the church for doing things like kicking autistic people out of their churches and comparing emotionally/mentally unstable human beings to demons.

I'm not science obsessive. Okay so I do know that the sky is blue and water is H2O. If you say that rain is God's tears, I'll be like "okay whatever". Sometimes I think it's cool to have a little superstition or get into things like miracles and such. Yeah I know science is science but it's all in good fun.

I think it would be cool if religion was more like everything is true and intertwined somehow...even science.

Agnostic...although I'm thinking about applying some Buddhist concepts into my miserable way of living.

I need some meaning or help in life right now.....something pills haven't already tried solving.

I can't really call myself a athiest because I don't know what happens after I die... I am open to the idea to spirits and some sort of after-life... but I am not going to place any bets in their favor though.

My biggest problem is with organized religion.

Religion is always organized, unorganized religion does not exist, we call that a personal conviction not a religion. A religion is always a group of people who organize themselves around their convictions.

I have a problem with religion that is politically active.

The separation of church and state should be reciprocal. Currently it's an one-way street where the state does not impose religious policy. We should move towards a situation where the state keeps out of religious policy and religion keeps out of state policy.

Religion should be politically neutral. If people choose to adhere to additional (religious) laws then they are free to do so. They should not however attempt to force these laws upon other people.

Pascal's wager is garbage. First of all it's a false dichotomy - picking the "wrong" religion is normally seen by a religion as just as bad - if not worse - than atheism. It also forgets an all knowing god would know whether you really believed or were just "hedging your bets." It's also false that you lose nothing by believing if there is no god - restrictions on behavior, time wasted praying/in church, stress worrying about going to hell, etc.
