H.L.Menken said quite a few things that were incisive and bright. I don't know if his being antisemitic should influence you.

I appreciate wit, regardless from whom.

pandabear, do you not have any morals? Taking advantage of people like that is terrible.

When I was your age, I may have had morals. In my 50 years, I've come to appreciate what a corrupt place the world really is.

Morality is for losers and idiots. Morals are utterly useless.

I'm thinking about trying to find some way to supplement my disability income. The most lucrative way is to get on TV and say "Send Me Money." Unfortunately, I do not have a telegenic personality. So, I'm thinking of the internet as a potential gold mine. After I've learned to make web pages.

I somehow got myself on the Republican Party's mailing list. Their fundraising gimmicks are completely shameless.

Who would I be to claim that I am morally superior to the great Republican Party? I am not. They've developed a money-making strategy that works. I need to learn how to emulate them.

My condolences. If you are not morally superior to the Republican Party you are, as the saying goes, in deep sh it.

Morality and $2.15 will get you a medium cup of coffee and an Old Fashioned at the local Dunkin' Donuts (tm).

I prefer Good Manners to Morality.

From what I can tell from what I get from the Republican party, the standard formula is to be negative, accusatory, and inflammatory to maximize your income.

Who gets more money? Joel Osteen or what's-his-name in San Antonio?

Well, here is Glen Beck's approach:

The only reason that I know who he is is that he is occasionally mentioned on the Colbert Report.

If this jackass can make millions with his insipid act, then why can't I?

It depends, of course, upon whether you're a jackass.

Oh, I can play the roll, if it means becoming a millionaire

In his speach in College Park yesterday, President Obama mentioned that fact that people were making money off of opposing health care reform. If that is where the money is at, I need to get some flowing my way.

I have a Bible that I have marked up--primarily the lewd passages--but I should be able to find a lot of passages to support getting right-wing idiots to send me money.

Heee....Hawww!! !!

Actually, if you saw Michael Moore's film on health care in the USA, at the end of the film he sends $15,000 anonymously to one of his many internet critics.
