She's need to outspend him though, that much seems nigh impossible.

Obama vs Palin. What a choice.

The choice between two nobodies that no one has ever heard of before?

In England or Australia you don't get the top job unless you have been serving your own political party and been a member of parliament for many years.

Three cheers for America where a total nobody can shoot for the top job if they have enough money and media behind them.

President Palin in 2012? In that case I guess the Maya would be right about the end of the world . . .

The whole Maya thing sounds like it was taken from a headline in the Onion.

So you're not voting?

You're 15, so there's a good chance your political views will change dramatically by the next election. (Yeah, I know I'm not much older- in all probably my views will also shift by then)

They can change again. And Obama is hardly a communist. He can be criticized well enough for what he actually is without making stuff up.

I would consider any government with much control over the economy as Obama has communism

Actually, control by regulation is not the same as control by bureaucracy.

I think the right way to say it is he's pretty much for turning the U.S. into a wellfare state - its not communism, its not quite socialism, pretty much whatever people want to consider large parts of Western Europe - that's what he's for. There's a guy named Leon Duwinter who as a Danish columnist even explains why it would be terrible for Europe as well if we became the same kind of economy - let alone our own economic future.

Then you are severely mistaken on what communism is.

Let me make one thing clear-Sarah Palin scares the living sh*t out of me. I can't imagine a more frightening scenario than to have that woman run this country. The amount of people replying that they'd vote for Palin also greatly disturbs me. Another Republican candidate whom I wouldn't vote for in a million years is Mike Huckabee. Essentially, the only difference between him and Palin is their sex.
