Phelps does, however, give us a clear demonstration of the fact that even hateful douchebags have the same rights as the rest of us. Putting up with idiots like this is part of the cost of freedom.

Seriously WTF? The [word I can't say on WP]s already ruined the poor girl's senior prom, now they have to go and ruin her graduation ceremony as well, just because she's a lesbian? I live in MS, but I'm hours away from the town Constance is in. I don't see why she should have been kept from the prom. I've heard this about Phelps, but that it was unsure if it was just a rumor. I would hate for their graduation to be picketed. Geez, what would their signs even say, "God doesn't want gay people to graduate"? I don't know if the town will take preventative measures in stopping anyone from picketing, couldn't say.

You know, the Phelps' do live in a compound, walled off from the rest of the world, and probably with guns inside (no, I'm not making that up). Why not just have the ATF serve them a warrant like in Waco, and let nature take it's course.
