Referring to the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan as "genocide" is complete hyperbole. And Bush's wars, disastrous as they were, don't even hold a candle to the devastation Hitler brought, and that was the comparison being made.
Abu Graib (sp?), the torture camps, rendition to third party countries for torture on our behalf but not directly for us, massive civilian casualties, the massive amount of birth defects in areas where they heavily used DU. It doesn't hold a candle because it's not so obvious and so it's a slower process.
I fully agree that what has happened in Iraq is deplorable, and those responsible need to be held accountable for what they did. But it is not genocide, and it is nothing even approaching what happened in WWII. Let's have some historical perspective here.
