It seems that being as extreme as you can get is the way to win in American politics today-USA Today noted that left wing candidates have done exceptionally well, also, and centrists everywhere are falling. I think that the road ahead leads to civil war. While I'm in favor of armed revolution, I'm not sure that either the right or the left truly represents America.
Say there's a war, and the right wins. We would end up with a state that would resemble a Christian Iran, with sex being illegal unless it's to reproduce. In fact, with IVF they probably could just outlaw making whoopee altogether. You would have death camps for anybody who disagrees and for gays. Anybody who suggests that the world was not created in six literal days 6,000 years ago by Jesus would be eliminated.
In fact, the fact that such a state existed with access to thousands of nuclear weapons, and the leaders waving them around casually, we'll nuke the Muslims and so on, would be cause for alarm among other nations. The Russians might even try to invade so they wouldn't be the next on the chopping block. The government would be so extreme that they would literally have ZERO friends. The Taliban had three friends, Holy America would have none. And the Americans would like it that way.
I do think that America should bring the troops home, abandon all overseas bases, and isolate itself, along with eliminating the Federal Reserve and yanking the USD as reserve currency, but some of the Christian extremists are just too extreme. O'Donnell says that people shouldn't masturbate, because it's against the Bible. Now that's just impossible, especially for males. Either she's a hypocrite or she desperately needs to get laid.
Human biology argues against a strict no-sex stance. They could fund genetic engineering to change human biology, so we were more like other animals and didn't think about sex all the time, but that may be monkeying with nature a little too much, and it's hard to say if such mutant humans would survive.
