Forced Psychiatric Care - My Short Story
After the guy had a seizure here is some of the things I remember.
I told the nurse at the counter then went to the hall way to get out of the way. Lots of people came and they took him away in the stretcher.
After some times past I talked to a random person i nthe hall way, I had gone back into the main room where he had a seizure and then went back into the hall way to talk to him.
He was an older man, greish hair and I got his card but I lost it somewhere in the transition after I was drugged. I was not rude, I was assertive, I told him about how I was asked to ask for his meds by him, they took a long time. I told him I would file a complaint and I think I said I wanted to name him on it, thats why I got his card. I did not want to turn him in, just I wanted the evidence of me speaking to him.
That kind of care, taking that long is just dangerious to tax payers. I was not confrontational, I did not cross a line of oppositionism.
Though I did not fear the place, I never expected that something like that would happen. Who does that to people, make them take meds with threats of getting a shot and confinement. I see now online there are laws about that.
So what about government accountability, huh. Do big time politicians only talk about it, but people on SSI and the homeless experience what they just talk about but never happens, ACCOUNTABILITY ? It's not often a gov employee gets fired!
I can believe, I can believe that my complaint will be noticed, but I cannot believe in it for sure, it's to draining. Yet I believe I must complain, like I as a tax payer wanted to complain for the increased quality of care for the guy that for all I know could be dead or brain damaged from having his head bang on the hard floor.
I didnt want to witness this stuff, my apartment was messed up, so I went to get some help with that. They wrote things up likely exaggerating so I would have a place to stay for sure.. IVe never seen the paperwork and I would likely not be able to read the doctors writtings. They write very badly.
I had no medical emergency! It all seems redicilious!
Sometimes this stuff just flashes back to me.
Three things:
1. The guy having a seizure on a hard floor. The emotional investment was that he asked me to help him, I was asked, not me being annoying trying to help everyone.
2. The security guard and the doctor threatening me with a shot and confinement.
3. The security guards pressuring me into an ambulance, I felt embarressed and all these people were there.
----
Not really much..
4. The developmentally disabled person who did not speak much at all being put into confinement for clapping, this was after all this. I felt very upset about it. I told the person that did it, me being assertive again, That it was his impulsive behaviours, in fact he was clapping at me and I was tapping on the table. I felt responsible, he was taken by the hand by moderate to mild force into it.
It was him communicating to me, his right to socialize, the sound was not loud nor intrusive. There again are laws that allow socialization, Its in the same code, it might as well apply here.

These people told me:
"I understand, I was not thinking about attorneys, but more on the way of
exposing the crimes that psychiatry has committed here in the name of help.
I think that what you are doing is great, by having this website. Keep up
the good work."
Huh. This better get some action. If what you said was true, these people have a hell of a lot of explaining to do.
You haven't gotten results after two years? Makes me glad I don't live in America.
Hey, is Fresno County in Orange County? If so, that makes it another bad thing about Orange County...
Why don't you write to Ahnold?
Seriously, you need to give these people hell, as they have given you hell.

This is a piece of artwork I got when I moved to Fortuna. The neighbors gave it to my mom to give it to me, its by her son when he was much younger, he is an adult now.
When I got it, it reminded of the Hispanic guy who was developmentally disabled and put into confinement. He was not a big person, in fact he was much smaller then me. With how he was, he was just a child even if he was 20-30 years of age. His age was hard to tell.
Just For Clapping..
It's time for a change...
