You've probably been hit by someones hand. Are you anti hand? Someone has thought about hurting you. Are you anti brain? A tree falls in the forest. Is it now anti gravity?

My comparisons were fun. And it illustrates a greater point, that necessary things can hurt you and that you can't blame things for the actions of people who would do the same thing with a knife/bat/broken shard of glass.

Good guys? I don't think I've ever heard of those.

Good guys is a very relative term I'm sure some of the people you consider the bad guys would indeed consider themselves the good guys fighting for a cause or their lives it all depends how you look at it and what side your on

With all the gun controversy, don't ever forget this little poem.

Violent thugs
Won't dare attack,
If their victim
Might shoot back.

My belief? I hate guns. Guns are cheating. Any idiot can pick up a gun and blow you away. It takes skill to use a bladed weapon, or even a bow.
I do not think I need a gun. I will have swords in my house, and know how to use them. Maybe even a bow. If I wanted to carry a weapon, it would be double daggers. (Makes great concealed weapons, as well. I want to get a permit to carry them.)
As for gun laws, as long as noone is shooting at me... Kidding. I think we should have alot of screening before you can buy one. It doesn't really matter, anyway, because a gun can get stolen, just like anything else.

As for good guys, they exist, but I have yet to see one on earth.

I think Switzerland's got it right. Everyone has a gun, everyone knows how to use it. And you don't commit violent crimes, because even if you manage to kill the guy you're committing the crime against, you've still got to worry about his next door neighbor putting a bullet in the back of your head.

when guns are illegal, only criminals will have guns. then again, most criminals get their guns illegally now anyways....

that and it'll keep guns out of the hands of good people*.

*despite what the morons who are anti-gun think, there's a ton of good people who own guns.
