Probably not. I would have pointed out that women have penis' too and that boys only start out physically LOOKING female. The sperm already has male DNA in it before it gets to the egg.

I hate when people ignore all the facts except the one that supports them.

Yeah, its really annoying. I didn't really see the point in trying to make a legitimate argument. Some people just don't seem reachable. Its best to let them wallow in their misery and ignorance, unless they are actually affecting others

True, but I have a tendency to correct people when they're wrong. It's gotten me into deep s**t in a lot of situations.

I couldn't care less about this so-called "War of the Sexes". I think the only one I can blame for my mistakes is myself. Sure, it doesn't really help, but at least I'm not using women as scapegoats for my own incompetence. :?

I don't think Benjiman knows what a feminist is. It's not a "man hater" its in favour of a political movement of equal rights in society for women and men.

I've learned to ignore this debate here on WP. Clearly, men are more capable of defining feminism than the women that support it. :?

Its somewhat similar to the way some Theists here feel they know exactly what Atheism is and that they can simply classify it based on their limited understanding that stems from the personal discomfort the idea of someone opposed to their views represents

It bothers me though. He should use the correct terms. If he means "man hater" he should say "man hater"

A lot of men here seem to think feminism = misandry
Its wrong, but I don't know how we can change their minds..

He's called me a "feminist" in the past. Although I am one, I am not one who hates men, when that is actually what he is accusing me of. I simply don't trust them because the way i've been treated by them. Doesn't mean there aren't nice ones out there.

Correct. I ignore those, too. I will talk about how I view both, but I refuse to fight about it anymore. It's a no-win fight, and I don't do well in those.

He should, but he'll use whatever word he wants anyway.

It's like how someone asked my cousin the other day "so you deny Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and God?"

Um... no. You can't deny something you don't believe exists. Period.

I'm sorry you've been mistreated by men before :( ... I'm glad you still think some of us are okay though :)

I actually owned some tool a few months ago in that fight, I think it is possible to win, if your opponent is willing to accept defeat, that is- not always a realistic expectation on the intarweb!

When I did used to participate in fights like this, I would eventually get ignored. I choose to believe I made a point they couldn't counter. :-D

Well It's not mistreating, I can get pretty snappy, and have probably given off that vibe.

Haven't noticed myself, but I'm more of a PPR goon, I don't usually venture out of there much... I did unintentionally burn you once, apparently, to my everlasting shame and regret...

They only pick the easy targets to attack, it almost always works that way 8)
