Glenn Beck has ADHD, and is also possibly on the spectrum.

His mother was bipolar and committed suicide. Glenn Beck likely has bipolar disorder.

That makes much more sense to me than anything else I've ever heard.
I hadn't heard about his mother committing suicide, though I had heard about his brother killing himself.

Glenn Beck as far as I know was diagnosed with ADHD, he was not diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

But mental illness does in fact run in his family. And just because he hasn't been diagnosed with bipolar disorder doesn't mean that he doesn't have it.

He does seem bipolar but I don't like playing armchair psychiatrist so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

If you ever paid attention to everything the does and seems to go off on multiple tangents at once, it is easy to see he isn't bipolar, if you actually know how people with ADHD can sometimes act.

In fact, he has a tendency of being really hyper when he's off his meds (I would need to find the article again), like all the time hyper, that he doesn't seem to exhibit signs of being bi-polar. A tendency to try to be a comedian and get people to laugh, yeah; but that isn't a sign of being bi-polar.

I was thinking more about his loony conspiracy theories - definitely the fevered dreams of a madman.

They said the same thing about people that claimed the mainstream media was actively working to try to wreck the McCain Campaign in 2008. Well, considering Journ'O'list was exposed, it seems they weren't crazy, they were right.

Beck gave out his theories as to what was going on based on the information he had. He connected dots in a manner that is quite similar to how many criminal investigators operate, they look at the facts, they follow the money, etc.

Care to explain why ACORN's headquarters was an abandoned funeral home in New Orleans, Louisanna?

There were like 100+ organizations that had their headquarters supposedly in that Funeral Home, seems a bit much to all be operating out of a funeral home.

If you watched Glenn's show from early on, he was originally of the mindset that the people in Government were incompetitent idiots that were trying to do too much at the same time. Over time he found evidence that suggested it was a lot worse than mere incompetitence, he presented what he found on the air, explained why he was coming to the conclusions he was, and was actually rather rational about it.

The fact he also tried to act comedic was probably to keep his show from being so depressing that people watching it wouldn't go into a depression and kill themselves. The fact he has a sense of humor doesn't mean he is bi-polar.

The point was they were doing some rather shady things on the side, or acting like they were trying to do some shady things.

Even if there was anything duplicitous about how ACORN had operated (I believe that little snake had in fact provided a very edited final version incriminating them), that doesn't negate the fact that they had done a lot of good for poor people and minorities. That's something that the right had never cared to understand.

You mean by getting minorities loans that they couldn't possibly afford, setting them up for predatory loans, etc.? How is that helping minorities again?

Those were actually banks that had screwed people over. ACORN was trying to help people, and were themselves blindsided.
