Bachman is an antivaxxer.

She is unlikely to be president but that does not matter anymore. The imbeciles in your party have given voice to an utter antivaxxer idiot. So, since after figuring out that she is such a threat to public health, where are the sane republicans recognizing that they gave forum to such a stupid person? depends. the health system that most European states have - where everyone chips in into public healthcare - demands it, simply because it saves everyone's money in the long run.

I'm not sure how healthcare works in the USA right now, but if it's a matter of voluntary health insurance then I can't see why it would be mandatory.

Yes. It's a public health concern. No one should be able to put everyone else into jeopardy, whether intentionally, or unintentionally.

In reality she's more of a thorn in the side of US conservatives, as she is a total laughing stock and does not help anybody's credibility.
