Which dictatorship is the scarriest

The most scary dictatorships right now are the Islamic ones, for the simple reason that the Spanish Inquisition was several hundred years ago and everyone associated with that is long dead.

The Communists at least have some sanity and won't start shooting off Nuclear missiles thinking they get 72 slave girls whom are virgins to be their eternal sex slaves for killing infidels.

The Nazis don't even have control of any government currently, and people recognize that they are a group of mental cases.


The US isn't even a dictatorship.

I meant an imaginary scenario of you living at the time of Spanish Inquizition versus other imaginary scenarios of you living at the respective time periods of other dictatorships. Which would be scarrier?
