Ain't it a shame? But here we are. Any American who thinks the Jews should give it back to their Arab speaking neighbors ought to consider giving back their homes and land to the American aboriginals.

Your Straw man argument is absurd. Israel exists because Israelis took control of the land from the palestinians. The USA exists because George III is an idiot.

You grasp of history is faulty. Jews -purchased- a piece of Palestine from the Ottoman Turkish Empire, prior to WW1. The Ottoman Empire was the de jure owner of the territory and the purchase (in gold, by the way) was legal under Ottoman law. This land was award to its Jewish -owners- by the U.N. in 1946.
The Palestinians made war against the partition that the U. N. ordained. What do you know, the Jews won. How dare the Jews win! That is bad. It must be wrong!

The Jews are the only people in the world that have to sue for peace after they have won a war.

While I agree the Islam countries have some issues with picking a fight with everyone around them. I don't think them all to be dirty filthy apes. their human beings and have a right to exist as long as they tolerate those around them. The Arabs have brought some good things to the world after all. The problem is the Jews and Arabs hate each other and a reasonable comprimise has not come about. I don't think Israel giving up land is the answer though. I think the other countries ought to be giving the land out considering what the Jews have had to undergo and the fact a lot of these Arab nations have more than enough to give to create a Palestine state.

Don't quote me on this as it's something I heard and have not been able to confirm. I heard that a lot of the Arab nations do not get along with the Palestinians either. Does anyone have any intake on that?

I figure after the Jews were hounded down and tortured and murdered they ought to at least have a right to the land they have.

While there have always been Jews in what became known a Philistea (after the Roman conquest) the majority of Jews in the world were scattered among many nations. It was only in the 20 th century that Jews returned to the land that the stole from the Canaanites, en mass.

Historically the Hebrew people originated in what is now Iraq, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Abraham was the one given the land by God that's what my religion has taught me and that we are to always support Israel and never declare war on Gods people.

I didn't know that though I learn so much from you ruveyn.

The belief in chosen-ness was one of the insane ideas that the Jewish people used to define themselves. Land is not given by God, it is taken by force.

If Judaism is special, it is special in that it promotes a sense of morality that is mostly lacking in the world. The Jews the were first religious group that conceived of their God as being Just and demanding Justice from them. But Jews bleed red just like every one else and they have all the weakness of the flesh that other nations and cultures have. The main difference between Jews and most Gentiles is that Jews expect more from themselves than most other peoples. Christians believe that humanity is flawed beyond its own power of repair. Which is why they invented a Christ that functioning as a blood offering to expiate sin.

The secret of overcoming sin is to stop doing the wrong thing and start doing the right thing.

I agree with what you are saying but Christians believed that Jesus was the Messiah even though you already know that which is why Christianity is all about Jesus of Nazareth I have no problem with Jews being the chosen people even if its a insane idea I still support it.

You still don't get it. Human beings regardless of their religion or philosophy are the smartest, baddest apes in the Primate House. We are hairless Ape, version 3.0. All of the previous versions are dead because our Nasty Kind outhunted them or killed them outright.

Actually according to scripture hornets drove out the Canaanites and once they were gone the Israelites moved in and took over an empty land. I don't know of any other records aside from scripture that reveal how the Israelites came to own the land they currently are in.

28And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

29I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

30By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

31And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.
Exodus 23

I was raised to believe in nothing but chose to believe in Christ. I admired the selflessness of Christ as it was something very different form the other religions. I have a long way to go to become as Christ is. Being a Christian is not a state of being but a journey. According to the Christian doctrine you are prone to sin but through repentance and submitting yourself to God and changing you become more like Christ in time. Sin is not excused but neither is it an ultimate end.

The ultimate principal behind Christianity is forgiveness. Not just forgiveness for yourself but to forgive others no matter what. If you cannot forgive others for the evil they have done to you God will not forgive you. Many Christians do not truly represent this teaching though I know but you cannot blame people for being imperfect.

It should be interesting. I am sure it will involve a lot of "your full of crap" in his own words. I am just stating what I have read in scripture in regards to how Israel got their land.

The only rational thing to do is ease up on Palestine and let the hornets do the work.
