It can actually be a hard call; I still can't decide if Fox, for example, is reflecting the actual political orientation of it's owner/employees or is simply filling a niche in the media market by catering to a previously overlooked demographic.

In either of you scenarios they could be honest.

@inuyasha, I think it's hilarious that you quoted a source that holds Ayers to be a liberal celebrity.

1. It is a fact that Weather Underground targetted John M. Murtagh's entire family with a bomb.

2. It is also a fact that Barack Obama started his State Senate campaign in the house of the Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn (both Weather Underground members and terrorists).

3. Barack Obama sat on boards with Bill Ayers, didn't Bill Ayers say that he wrote Obama's 1st Book.

1. The WU blew up buildings not people (except in the tragic case of Diana , Ted, and Terry members of the group who died in a bomb-making accident. the John Murtagh thing is BS invented by his son. the cocktails thrown at the judges house were Black panther not W.U.
2. This is libel if you call Bill and Bernadine terrorist in the present tense.
3. Oh my hell, you know Bill is joking right? you humor detector is broken that is ok it is common on the spectrum.

Bill and Barry are not close which is the take-away from the "I wrote the first book joke" Bill is actually not even an Obama supporter.
Bill and Bernadine are not presently anything other than educators.

University of Wisconsin's Sterling Hall after the Weather Underground's bombing that killed a professor and injured three students.

Probably collateral damage.

That Bombing was done by the New Year's Gang (a completely unrelated group) not the Weather Underground.

Dude, you are calling John M. Murtagh, whose family got targetted by a multiple bombs a liar. That is like telling someone whom just got shot at that nobody was shooting at them when they were clearly the target.

The man is a domestic terrorist (referring to Bill Ayers. In a New York Times article published on 9/11/2001 he said: "I do not regret setting bombs, I felt we did not do enough," or something to that effect, if you would like I could find the article.

Well, then, the next Republican President will certainly award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Bill Ayers sometime in the near future.

1)
John M. Murtagh was a child when some one threw a moltov cocktail not a bomb at his house
he did not see who did it no one knows who did it. The W.U. say they did not do it. So when he says the W.U. Bombed his house he is Lying like a lying Bastard. and since he did not bring it up for 40 years a politically opportunistic lying bastard.

2) Barack and Michele worked at the same Law firm and met before either met Bill or Bernadine.

3) true, boards of the Republican founded Anenberg foundation.

4) The book thing make you look dumb. :( Learn to tell when people are joking.

For me, having a bias is more "i have something to win from side A than side B, so i'm going to present good things about side A and throw dirt on side B, and withhold the truth about the other things".

An example: Fox News is a biased TV channel for right wing idiots.

They appeal to stupid working class people who believe their BS, high income cheapskates f*****s who do not want to pay their taxes and sociopaths who hate poor people.

These people are biased in their world view and believe what they want to believe, while ignoring the truth. So they throw BS statements about "liberals" and "fair and balanced so their politicians can prey on the stupid and the hateful. And as a republican is elected president and runs the economy deeper into the ground, the rest of the world watch and wonder if sociopathy per capita has gone up to 50% of the population.

Wow, in your complaining about the bias of conservatives, you actually managed to justify their bias of liberals in the same post.

For me bias means deviation from the truth not deviation from the center.
for instance if you had a country were most of the people are Center Right most of the media is Centrist to Center-Left
and the truth is Far Left.
I would say the media has a right wing bias.
Bias is more than playing teams it is believing your team is right against the facts.

What you define to be the truth JakobVirgil, is often contradicted by the facts.

is this a comment on what I just wrote?
because I don't see how it engages it.
Because it is a hypothetical situation.

here I will rewrite it for slow people.
