Why so bitter, kxmode, he's free to believe what he wants. I disagree with some of the precepts of Jehovah's Witnesses, but I still won't say he shouldn't believe in God. And science does NOT answer everything. I HATE that claim. There is still so much about the universe we don't know.
*SIGH* why must someone always derail my efforts? This is why I don't post here often.

Science answers a lot of things better than God and the Bible could ever do.

But if we are eggheads, then falling wouldn't be intelligent.

It does not answer everything, but it provides a framework to.

Find evidence, create new theories to fit the new evidence, repeat.

It has done a much better job at giving answers than religion. And god of the gaps is such a terrible thing.

Not so. Physical science has nothing to say about ethical/moral right or wrong.

In areas of ethics, physical science is incompetent.

I talked about answers in regards to actual questions.

Moral right or wrong is for w*kers.

You mean questions such as: Should I rip my parents off to buy a fix? ..... is not an actual question?

It does not look like an actual question, because the answer looks obvious to me.

When compared to how many years old is the universe, now that's a question. But on the other hand, "should I kill my parents?" I feel stupid for even typing the question.

Science does give frameworks for answers to some of the more complicated moral questions, such as whether abortion should be legal or not. But the more obvious questions, we don't really need religion to justify their answers and they are way too obvious for science to try to answer.

That's why I'm a Christian.

But, why do you believe in God, and that Jesus Christ is the son of God?

My guess is that he does not like the thought of dying. He wants to live Forever.

Is this a thread about why people are Christian or just an attempt to mock fellow members of this forum, based on what you guys are saying, it looks like it is the latter.

Why don't you just answer the question?
