The scouts get military funding but require members to believe in god. Sounds about as inappropriate as you can get.

oh man it's gotten so much more militant than when i was a child! it sounds like fun now. god why didnt we do any of this stuff? but then i was a girl guide not scout so could be a bit different.

I just noticed, they're criticizing the Girl Scouts' support of feminists? And what would a lesbian agenda actually be? Acceptance? And I don't need to mock the communist one--it mocks itself.

Yes, the Girl Scouts are commies. Because working with other people towards a common goal is commie, and helping the poor/elderly/vulnerable is commie. A good American is someone tramples grannies on Black Friday so they can grab a big-screen tv that they will pay for with a credit card. We're a Christian country, darn it!

As far as I am concerned, any organization that teaches young women that they are free and independent individuals who are able to make their own choices, and who are responsible for the consequences of those choices is the right place to be for young women and young trans people who identify as women.

Where do I sign up to buy a case of cookies?
