Not so. Our Fearless Leader has a legally vetted birth certificate indicating he was born in Hawaii to an America women which makes him a natural born citizen.

If Jesus shows up in America without a visa, then he is an illegal trespasser.

Do you still crucify dangerous insurgents or do they get off light with 'enhanced interrogation'?

I was thinking more along the lines of deportation.

Send Him back to Israel.

Can't foreigners sue for libel and slander in American courts?

No, I find it crazy as well. Look at this way how many times have god and Jesus had lawsuits against them?

Thats because god and jesus are god and jesus. So obviously no plaintiff could have a case in such a lawsuit because the defendant is the fountainhead of all virtue ( if God exists then he has the right to think of himself of "god" I would think).

And even if you could win such a case no human constabulary could enforce the verdict. You cant put God in jail. But if Jesus were found to have been living in the USA he could in principle get a settlement in a lawsuit.

Its ok social satire.
Dont see why you have a problem with it.

write your own story about someone suing god/jesus if you want.
Woody Allen wrote a very amusing play about a sam spade type gumshoe tracking down "who killed God?".

Am ok with social satire and fictional works, thanks
What I have issue is its use for theist vs atheist mud slinging.

OH BTW, there have been two actual lawsuits taken against God.

I would think plenty of churches - and even a fair number of synagogues and Masques - would happily give JC sanctuary.

Horse feathers. Most churches are manned by latter day scribes and pharisees.

If Jesus should be foolish enough to come back he will be crucified by those who claim to follow him;

Christ II, The Second Coming. This Time He Is Not Turning The Other Cheek.

A bit cynical, are we?
Though I concede, I should have clarified my statement by using the term mainline.

I am too simple minded to be cynical. I leave cynical to unhappy NTs.

You, my friend, are one of the very least simple minded people I have ever come across. 8)

But its NOT being used as "athiest vs theist" mudslinging!
Its being used as republican vs democrat mudslinging!

His point was that the party that wraps itsself in Christ is the very party that is the most unchristian in its policies ( or he thinks that they are).

No, I can confirm - it is who you think it is.

On a side note Zeus just cheated on his wife! Saw him on Rickie Lake!
