Where is Nibiru? I remember it was supposed to be here in 2003, then when it did not happen everyone jumped on the 2012 bandwagon for its arrival. When it doesn't show up, what will be the next apocalyptic year chosen, and what numerological justifications will be supplied for this?

It was also meant to pass in 2009 and 2010. Glitches on Google Maps in 2009 I believe further excited some of the Planet X'ers.

OP, as soon as we start to look for "the big picture," we can be driven to conspiracy theories. It is better, in my view, to focus on specific human activities.

For instance, the scenario you outlined has never happened. It is a meme which has gone viral on the Internet.

There is no planet Nibiru. That is an idea which resulted from Zecharia Sitchin's misinterpretation of Ancient Sumerian manuscripts. Some people have combined it with the Planet X hype. Originally, Planet X was supposed to crash with the earth in 2003 (nine years ago). Some people still cling to the idea. It is another urban legend.

There may well be large frozen planets out in the kuiper belt or Oort cloud but if they started moving toward us we'd see them. The hypothetical Tyche is thought to be at 15,000 AU. 15,000 times further from the Sun than Earth. And it's going to get here in six months? WIth what? A warp drive?
