Excellent dude. This is your truth, it's unmoveable, you should start a religion and make yourself God. You can be the God who tells everyone not to worship other gods because those gods killed more people than anyone else, and the people who worship them stole their beliefs from other belief systems........You're Christmas can be on August 12th, a day where we all gather around and kick each other in the nuts....for Easter we'll capture Jews and Christians and hide them in the bushes, and then eat them later for supper.

I pity people who don't have faith. That's all I have to say about that.

I didn't live in Soddom or Gomorah, so I can't say, but if God promised that he would not destroy the city if one righteous person could be found, and the city was destroyed, it must have been a very evil place.

It depends on your concept of God.

If you believe in a passive god - a deist sort of god that set the laws of physics in motion and stepped back to behold his creation - maybe not so much a bad guy.

If you believe in an interventionist god - he'd have to be a tremendous as*hole to do and/or allow the things he's done and allowed. What kind of god allowed the boxing day tsunamis? He's either a massive prick or he doesn't have his hand on the tiller.

The Calvinist God creates people to be predestined for Hell. Now that's a god!

Yeah, that God is at least honest.

The funniest part is that the conventional view is that belief in this God that predestines people for Hell is credited with all that is good, with all progress and civilisation as we know it! People were backward, the dominant thinking goes, until suddenly some started believing in a God that decides to condemn people to Hell before even creating them. Then things began to move and all industrialisation and prosperity and advancement began that otherwise would not have, all led by those who believe that a God creates people just to torture them for eternity!
