I don't think anyone should be allowed to get married in law. I believe in civil partnerships for all, so religious institutions can call it whatever they like (marriage included), but it won't be marriage. It'll just be civil partnership. The same benefits and arrangements will accrue for everyone.

Marriage -in law- is a type of civil partnership.
Actually the State should not be involved in the mating of two consenting adults. The State should only safeguard the rights and safety of children that come of such mating.
