Not necessarily. Violence has always been with us. We can say what's justified and what isn't justified. And from thereon in, it all gets rather messy because we're dealing with ethics and people and blah blah blah.

I've seen this clip before. Don't hit people is my advice.

I've seen it attributed to Thomas Jefferson. I think it's a bastardization of the following:
