Wonder if he even is still in the mountains or if his burning truck was a diversion. He could be a 1000 miles away and they'll be searching those mountains for weeks. Either that or he blew his head off and is buried under a couple feet of snow.

He would have needed to stage additional vehicles to get away. His burnt truck is out on a remote fire access road. No motorcycle tracks are known to have been found before the snow fell. Without a means of escape, holding out will be hard.

Seems weird that he would burn his car period unless he wanted to gain the their attention, why would he leave guns and survival equipment in trunk?

It seems obvious that he preparing to do this for a very long time and he's very well trained. Who knows what he is capable of.

It will probably be at least a couple days before there is any new piece of news. It might not be Montana, but there is still a lot of wild land to hide on and store preparations.

I see that police captain mentioned in the manifesto as a target is in hiding... weak as water!

He's been chased by an expert marksman with no qualms about killing people who are just remotely connected to his grievance... Why is it wrong to be in hiding?

These people when faced with the slightest thing cower pathetically as George W Bush did during 9/11. The LAPD meanwhile shot a bunch of people in terror.

Everywhere I have read just assumed he was acting alone, but has it ever been verified? Who says he didn't meet up with a someone else or maybe even a group? From what I've read, Dorner is sociable and smart. Not to mention, the LAPD has made a lot of enemies. It wouldn't be too farfetched to think he's made a couple like-minded friends in the last couple of years, especially since these events appear to be well planned.

It's traditionally considered an act of cowardice to neglect ones duty in order to preserve ones life, especially when that duty is to lead.
