I suspect that the increasing use of soy in the American diet may be part of a Feminist plot to sissify men.

I guess Chinese, Koreans, and others who eat a lot more soy than Americans ever will must have been sissified in a feminist plot to take over thousands of years ago. This could be why women in those countries lie still like dead bodies during sex and are normally found only in low paying jobs.

Soy is a heavily subsidized commodity in the USA. You can't really get away from it. Preaching against soy has been going on for years.

If you watched the last Big Bang Theory: Sheldon needled Leonard about the feminizing effect of his soy milk.

(By the way, I hope that any reasonable person would have perceived my previous remark concerning the increasing use of soy in the American diet as a joke--no reasonable person could believe in the actual existence of such a conspiracy).

And no reasonable person could think that the influence diet has on the endocrine system is numerically significant. Yes, it has an effect, but it's very small.

Don't think I haven't looked into it. There was a period in my life when I was obsessively researching all sorts of ways I could come up with some kind of DIY hormone therapy. No reasonable amount of soy milk is going to feminize a man in a noticable way on its own.

Did you come up with anything in the end?

Re. soy... I'm sure biohackers could come up with something, were they inclined to do so. Make a retroviral deliverer to infect the entire national crop...

Check the Minangkabau people of Sumatra, women own property and run things. men are quiet and in the background. Christian missionaries gained a foothold there too, couple of hundred years ago.... but animism still holds too, though Islam appears by far the dominant religion.

Every year ancestors bones get exhumed for a family party and families live in large long houses together. Children are conceived during the rainy season, when the sound of the rain drowns out love making noises

The Minang peoples symbol is the water buffalo. The magic mushrooms there are some of the strongest in the world, and they grow very near the buffalo droppings. The buffalo graze on these mushrooms... as this one appears to have done recently....no sh*t
