Most sources estimated around 1.1 million in 2007, so simple extrapolation, I'm probably being rather conservative about it considering it's been 5+ years.. You can google it if you like.

The true number of genuine noncombatants killed by the US in Iraq may be as low as 10,000. Anyone trying to get a remotely accurate number for the casualties in Afghanistan is either an idiot or has an agenda.

The Taliban had it coming - though I'll be the first to admit we mishandled the occupation.
As for Iraq - what connection? I had always opposed Gulf War Part two.
And incidentally, if Bin Laden could attack the U.S., what makes you think he wouldn't do it to any other western country? Various European countries have in the past been subject to terrorist attacks, themselves.
