There is a lot of ignorance out there towards atheism.

They would also have trouble with Ventura's conspiratorial viewpoint. Something else there is a lot of ignorance about. So, much that I'm not going to argue it with anyone. Let's just say I agree with Ventura.

We need to stop pretending to sanity and go whole-hog to honest lunacy. Ventura/Stern is the best way to do that.

The one thing that surprised me about Obama is how extremely status quo he would be. Other than expanding socialized health care and he is trying to wean us out of Iraq and Afghanistan, not much in the real change dept. On the other hand keeping status quo and hopeful placating has keep the local peace so far, the downside to this is problems get swept under the rug and never dealt with.

I will go with Ventura on what heath care congress should get, the same as the rest of America gets and no more.

Congress's approval ratings are in the single digits, Obama has Nixon Watergate era approval numbers. The recession well it has improved some but in my opinion most of this improvement is the winding down of debt that never could be paid back - but no real jobs/wages recovery, people adapt to having to make do with less.

People are tired of both political parties, a new form of communication has reached critical mass, the internet and with it the unheard (so far) libertarian/alternative voice in large numbers. It is possible a real grass roots style of movement is possible at this point in history. There is a very large disconnect between the formally main stream media and the new media world. If it happens it will not be repeatable. If the American people want real non status quo Ventura/Stern would deliver. (who are actually closer to the center of America than what will be offered by the other parties)

On conspiracy theories,
Those at the top are often just winging it, they don't have this big secret plan, they often don't have a clue. If they did have a plan it doesn't come anywhere close to actually working although they may clam this is not so; there are tons of examples of this in current and past history.

There is no shortage of corruption on K street.

There is another thing but I am having some trouble explaining it.

The Democrats and Republicans are more or less running there campaigns the same way, I will call it the Carl Rove method, which has been used in the last 4 elections.
They target only garden variety herd following NT's (neuro typicals). They ignore everything else.

This method does have a flaw, if the others (non neurotypicals especially) get motivated enough this method can fail spectacularly.

Someone like this needs to be in the public view because he asks questions that make people think.

Just because he was a professional wrestler once, he should not be considered stupid.

Jessie presents some challenging ideas, even though I doubt his effectiveness as a president due to extreme opposition, I still think he is an excellent public figure. He has gone from "smack downs" in the WWE ring, to "smack downs" in public political debates.

I don't think that "conspiracy theorist" is necessarily derogatory. He had a TV show called Conspiracy Theory. A lot of them are worth at least thinking about.

At least Ventura is up front about what conspiracy theories he subscribes to.
Bush also had some seriously crazy wacko stuff he believed in, but it was keep hidden.

I like Howard, but Ventura is an idiot. He may not believe in God, but he believes all kinds of other crackpot ideas.
