Is it really vital that you have editing privileges for some random feminist wiki page in a roiling sea of wiki pages and Tumblr pages?
Was wondering that myself…
But more importantly, I'm almost dumbstruck that this comes as a surprise! What exactly did we expect would happen?
I'm all about honest discussion and welcoming opposing viewpoints. However, when you look at the nature of the internet, you do have a plethora of sites advocating all sorts of various views on various topics. If you take issue with feminism, post a critique on a separate website and figure out a way to direct traffic there to read it.
If you have something to say opposing Christianity, for example, the middle of a congregation during a sermon is not the place for heckling a preacher. Nobody is stopping you from picketing outside the church. A site that promotes a particular view is free to promote those views absent disruption. If they don't like what you have to say, they aren't obligated to let you hang out and edit their materials. They can spout a whole bunch of lies if they want to. Counter it on your own website if it means that much to you, and if someone on there tries to be subversive, you can delete their comments or simply just not allow comments. We all get a soapbox here. But…good grief…if you heckle a preacher during a sermon, don't be surprised if security guards or big, burly deacons manhandle you out of the building.

I'm not anti-feminism, and I wasn't posting anti-feminist content either. I was just pointing out that some articles were biased, as in even from a feminist perspective it was limited.

Doesn't matter. You're pointing out something that is probably true on a blatantly agenda-driven website. Doesn't matter if you're right or not. What matters is how successful you are conforming to the agenda.
