Including the capitalists who produced the computer you are using at price most people can afford.

When it comes to environmental affairs, it's become obvious that the business world cannot be relied upon to self-regulate themselves in a fashion that leaves the environment in a satisfactory condition for posterity. SOME form of regulation is necessary.

MODERN capitalists? Because the early capitalists had everyone's best interest at heart, right? "Here, come get paid in company tokens!"

Most of the people involved in producing the computers we use were likely paid an absolute minimum while being stuffed inside tin shacks in the third world.

Umm, maybe because there's no longer a need? Plus, it would be a pretty neat trick to regulate early capitalists without a time machine.

:P

What really gets me is the so-called capitalists in my city are the ones that insist city council ban people having weekly garage sales or selling items in their front yards along busy streets. Folks around here like to do that, it's called capitalism, but those pesky retailers won't allow it. They only want people to shop at their stores.

You don't become a capitalist after selling stuff in your house or garage. Your a capitalist if you are hiring people to do it for you.

Wikipedia has more content for terms than the vague definitions in dictionaries. Because it is crowed sourced, and definitions of words are determined by consensus, Wikipedia fits the job.

Well, I would argue that your rights end where others begin. In this case, they are polluting someone else' land, and thus should pay restitution, akin to the carbon credit, but attached to particular pieces of land. Same goes for government roads. That is a stupid business decision, and if someone else gets better ideas, that company could be bowled over eventually.
