The Spanish Reconquista was (as the name suggests) the Spanish reclaiming their land after it had been conquered by an alliance of Muslims and Jews.

Of course, anti-Whites tell Europeans they should feel guilty for their ancestors conquering other lands, and at the same time they portray the centuries-long Muslim occupation of Spain as some sort of great cultural gift that Europeans should feel thankful for.

Reconquista was not a easy process to understand. It went on for EIGHT CENTURIES!! The countries that exist in the 8th century, when this process started (Umayyad Caliphate and Visigothic Kingdom) no longer exist when it ended in 1492 (with the conquest of the Kingdom of Granada by an alliance between Castille and Aragon). There're times of advance and another times of setback for both Christians and Muslism. There were Muslims living in Christian territories and Christians living in Muslim territories, as well as Jews living in both. There were blood as well as cultural exchange. I mean, eight centuries...

The Muslims that entered in 711, didn't face the Spanish armies. Spain didn't exist at that time (Visigothic Kingdon, a german people that occupied the Roman province of Hispania), as it didn't exist in 1492 (the Kingdom of Spain was formed in 1700, by royal order of Philip V). Muslim occupation was not a gift nor a disgrace, only a fact. The Visigoths were also an invader of this old land.

According to 21st century standards, they committed war crimes. Lots of barbarism went on.

You can't blame the Europeans for purposely introducing diseases like Smallpox to the indigenous population; the way diseases are "caught" was unknown in those days (though there are inklings that some people had a vague idea of this).

If 3/4's of any people are killed within a span of say, 50 years, something really bad occurred.

16th-17th century Europeans were quite a barbarous people, frankly. But their descendants should not be blamed for their actions.
