I've only seen the term on libertarian/self-defense websites, so the association with "conspiracy theorists" is new to me. (What are the boundaries of that term, by the way? Does being atheist make me a "conspiracy theorist" because I believe that clerics duped most of the world's population?)

And what's so wrong about pointing out a real problem? My dad is a great example. He's really smart and well-educated, but he's not comfortable coming to an unpopular conclusion on his own. (At least he won't publicly state one.) It's really common for people to feel that they need group support.

I thought it meant the herd mentality.Sheep aren't that bright, they will follow each other blindly, even if it's to their demise.

This.

Thus folks who have fringe ideas will accuse the scoffers of being "sheeple".

How can you sheeple deny that both the Pope and President are shapeshifting reptoids from Arcturus?

I wonder what Miss Lizard's opinion on the matter is

Ah! Got you now! There were numerous flyers up around your neighbourhood... someone had gone missing by the name of Rosemary!

Are there any recipes that use all three of the Simon and Garfunkel spices: parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme?

Stuffing mix. Just some breadcrumbs, chopped onion and egg if you want to bind it all together.

Thinking back on my previous career, I believe that this is the only time I used all four together. Sage is a very underutilised herb, or erb for our US friends

And because I am a pedant; naturalplastic these are all herbs and not spices, and unless you are using some sort of mathematical system approved by lovenothate, you will find there are in fact 4 herbs and not 3

I did that on purpose to raise the mathematical/culinary question of "whether four herbs are really three spices?" because- like Lovenothate- I ask "penetrating questions" - I'll have you know!

If she can declare her own statements to be "penetrating questions" then I can label my own screw ups the same way! Lol!

I think I'm a "sheep" only because I decided last fall to get a flu shot. And I plan to get another one this year. Because if someone wants to , you know, have at least some protection from a virus or not infect someone else who could actually DIE from it, you're a freaking sheep! BAH!! !

I've never had a flu shot.Never will.A young man died here from the flu.I know the family. On Christmas morning he took sick, and died before nightfall. 8O 8O I had to nurse two sick adult kids thru the last flu scares. Both thought they were dying,at least that's what they said.I never caught it.Go figure.I've always wondered about immunity, why I didn't catch it and I was right there taking care of them. And I was worried, they were both really sick, and the emergency room here was full with cots in the hallway with sick people
