Yes, well this question is directed more towards the right leaning 'don't tread on me' libertarian crowd that are most vocal in the USA.

I was just pointing out that not all libertarians are right-wing.

Quite a lot of them aren't that libertarian in practice, especially when it doesn't apply to them, they are in favour of protectionism. For many it just to have another label, becuase Liberal is so misappropriated and conservativasm has adopted traditionally classical liberal policy.

I'm broadly pro economic migration and trade liberal which is the more natural Libertrain position TBH.

Deontological Minarchists such as myself oppose fraud, breach of contract, and are in general favor of wealth redistribution for funding fire departments, the police force, courts, a national defense (military), public infrastructure, some emergency services, legislatures and the executive. Some even champion public roads, as well as minimally regulated laissez faire markets.

I have nothing against taxes as long as it can be beneficial for the country, and isn't wasted on stupid or controversial stuff. I'd rather our defense budget be higher than ever, with missile and laser defense surrounding the country without any blind spots. Would also like the border secured, but sadly it's not, even though a lot of gullible people think it is.

The government should be taxing people as little as possible, and transferring funds from things less priority or meaningless to things that have more importance, but unfortunately the government likes to find excuses to tax people more, without balancing the budget and trying to stabilize the failing economy first. I recognize that our current congress is filled with a lot of moderates and neoconservatives, and they too like to waste money, but I'm happy that it's not a liberal majority anymore, because I think they're worse, and more incompetent.

And a brief Google search brought me these interesting sites: http://posey.house.gov/wasteful-spending/ http://thefederalist.com/2014/10/22/was ... our-money/

In my opinion, most of the taxation that has been going on in this administration has been ridiculous, and I detest how much the government has been wasting it. I wouldn't consider it stealing, but it certainly is greed and carelessness.
