this being the same Dave Kopel that receives funding from the NRA, I can't really view his commentary as anything but bought and thusly heavily biased. also the claim is made that congress took the 2.6 million that the CDC had allocated to gun violence, but it doesn't mention how the NRA lobbied for that to happen.

and the people who lobby for the cdc funding, get money from anti gun groups. so what. how about the cdc stays out of non health issues and focuses on stuff like Ebola and anthrax.

there is no non biased side in this debate, people who are not on any side(unbiased completely) don't give a s**t and don't debate gun control. the fact that you do shows you're on one side and its not the pro gun side.

you mean the article written by someone who receives money from the NRA? no, I didn't(mostly because my workplace's firewall won't let me). does it claim that gunshot wounds aren't a health issue?

There's no mention of gunshot wounds in that article. asking again what reasoning there is for claiming that being shot isn't a health issue

I don't care about studies even tho most are in our favor, the constitution is clear in its intent. We must be able to bear arms to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government, period. End of story.

if you wanted to give up, you could have just said so. you claimed that prevention wasn't the business of medical science, I gave an example that refuted your claim. it's hardly apples to oranges.
