I'm not a big fan of Trump, that being said Megyn Kelly is a twat.

I think Trump, if he gets the nomination, will almost certainly lose to the Democrats, but he's quite intriguing as a candidate. One day, I think he's just going to stand up and say that this was all a big social experiment and he's not really running for president. :D

Anyhow, as someone said on a different thread, there's a difference between not being "politically-correct" and being a (misogynistic) jerk.

WTF
This seriously makes me question the way people view women.

If Trump becomes the republican candidate it's either the end of the republican party or the apocalypse.

To disrespect an entire gender on such a base claim makes me fear for humanity.

Why, does Trump represent the whole Republican party, or the whole of society's view on women? This whole thing is just more propaganda by the media. They like to push buttons and one of the easiest things to push people's buttons is sexism. Trump is a jerk, but he's a hell of a lot better than Hilary, Obama, or Romney. That being said, I'm a fan of Cruz and Rand, not so much Trump. I don't trust him.

Trump is a caricature of himself. People will soon realize that.

Try reading what I actually said; people are responding to Trump because he comes off as authentic compared to what they're used to, or at least far less scripted, not because he's a good guy or has admirable qualities.

He's an authentic fool.

It's the current polls indicating support that concern me.

Trump could drop kick a puppy down a flight of stairs and rise in the polls. Maybe if he makes it all the way to the White House people will finally wake up in this country. No they won't, they're too busy staring at their smart phones, watching the latest viral video on YouTube (which I think is footage of Donald Trump drop kicking a puppy down a flight of stairs).

I just goes to show you how little faith the American people have in their political leadership when a character like Trump is leading the polls, if Trump treated this run even remotely serious he could be running away with it right now but then again maybe the fact that he isn't is his appeal to some supporters. Trump is obviously a very intelligent calculated man, I think his persona is an act in which to sell himself to conservatives when he is to the left of Hillary Clinton on a number of issues but that can change for both of these chameleons. I can't imagine Trump being any worse than the establishment candidates, Trump isn't beholden to party politics and doesn't seem like an ideologue so who knows, he could be better. I'd much rather have Trump as president than Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton for sure, the whole system needs to be uprooted and that aint happening with them.

Trump is the epitome of a Trumped-up charge.

If we elect him, we'll be worst than the Romans in the 5th Century AD.

Not with me he won't! He can dropkick all the people he wants down the steps but I draw the line at puppies.

Trump aint going to the White House. This is just a dog & pony show and he'll drop out after he's had his fun. He'd never get the votes, anyway. Even if he is the next president you'll survive it.

I mean how much worse could Trump be?

Trump has more of chance than people think, he doesn't poll that much worse than the Republican field and I think a 3 way election would be a lot closer than some people want to admit. Hillary's approval rating is almost just as bad as Trump and she's even more allergic to talking policy and making stands on issues. Trump actually has brought certain issues to the forefront of this race even with his relentless self promotion, Hillary is still doing the "America's grandma" act that nobody ever bought. If Trump rans third party then I expect he'd run on a more syncretic platform with populist positions from both parties. He isn't really running from his old views that much in the GOP primary as he defended the healthcare systems in Canada and Scotland specifically and said such a system could of worked here at one time, he now supports a private system for those that can afford it and something else for those that can't, definitely not your rank and file Republican on that issue. I don't think he is ideological at all. It's all an act, he is playing a game.

Trump ain't going nowhere!

He'll do his act, then he'll become less and less visible, until the Real Games begin.

He'll make his asinine pronouncements all through the election. He might even pretend to want to mount a 3rd-party candidacy.
