Post Wall, we will continue dealing with Mexico. They are our sweatshops and produce production.
We need a wall, and to get rid of the 31% in our jails, 1/3 of our jails, not for being illegal, but for being convicted felons.
We need a better deal for those who come to work, stay out of trouble, who live in the shadows without rights. Documented Guest Workers.
We do employ Mexico, and we do have laws that say even offshore, workers will be treated right, the environment, and bribes are illegal. Good luck getting a phone line in Mexico without bribes, or water, electric, so contractors are hired to do that.
As Sweetleaf has shown, Trump knows exactly what the situation is, and Mexico demands political donations just like New York and Washington.
It gets complex, the wool in the Trump Collection is most likely American Mills, sheep, and so is the thread. Sewing machines maybe American, or Europe, or Japan. The same for the trucks that move it.
Mexico is likely not as corrupt as New Jersey, but everyone is taking it out on the workers.
Keeping out the ones that fill our jails, who are mostly known to the Mexico Police, and cannot cross legally, better tracking of Tourist Visas, Student Visas, we have face recognition software that spots them if they ever got picture ID, used an ATM, or just walked into a business. We have the technology.
Next we should welcome visits, and welcome Guest Workers. Give them all a Visa Debit Card, track the money.
We have to do something about our laws, as withholding, Tax, Social Security, Unemployment, are why we have an illegal under the table employment situation, which could be fixed by letting Documented Guest Workers make untaxed money, and be paid less than Minimum Wage.
We now have farmers saying they picked 2,000 boxes of tomatoes, and paying the income tax, social security on the profits. Truth is they paid illegals, which as guest workers would be deductible.
We have a situation where everyone lies on their tax returns, uses fake names and social security numbers, which is not good for a system based on voluntary compliance.
We can do better, we can weed out the bad ones, and give the good players all a better deal.
