To me, God is Man's creation.

Man is to blame for all which besets us, not God.

Pascal's wager is an interesting point, and I do consider it. But I won't give my will to a being who demands I fear and love them...just 'cause. So yeah, I'll take the eternal damnation for 500, alex.

According to academic theology, God is Being. Does existence exist? Metatheology?
1. God is existence itself.
2. Existence is not a predicate. (Kant)
3. Therefore, predicates (good,evil) do not apply to God.

If you accept this definition (pantheism), you are leagues ahead of knee-jerk atheists. In the OP, we see a hundred different "is's", yet none is a definition.

The problem with Pascal's wager is that it is illogical because it applies to every proposition. When something applies to everything itis meaningless.
1. An elf lives under the Washington Monument.
2. If you believe #1 you will be eternally rewarded.
3. If #2 is true, it is in your best interest to believe #1. If #2 is false nothing bad will happen to you if you believe #1.
4. Therefore it is in your best interest to believe that an elf lives under the Washington Monument!

Fiction and mythology! Disagree? Look up Greek Mythology, look up Norse Mythology, all depicting of God or Gods, Religion is mythology! Sorry if it makes you mad, but facts are fact and this is reality not fairytales, gods are part of mythology and not reality! Its fiction, sorry!

We have a useful concept in ontology. It is the concept of Being. And, because words can have more than one definition, many people use the word "God" as a synonym for "Being". In this case, God is not mythology, but metaphysics. It's a fact that knee-jerk atheists cannot abide.

I would have thought that knee-jerk atheists couldn't abide it because you've just defined God into b/Being. It's a sleight of language. At that point, aren't you are talking about two different things? You define God as Being. The knee-jerk atheist does not. I struggle to see how that can be settled, and what reason there is for coming down on one side over another beyond one's inclinations demonstrated by how one defines God.
