Now that certain individuals have posted their results, here's mine. Evidently they fixed the chart so I don't end up outside the left side of the graph.

One wouldn't want to be quantified out of bounds, now would one?

Yep, but last time I took this the chart actually didn't extend far enough. I was literally off the chart.

I'd say this is pretty accurate. Though as others have mentioned, the test has a downward bias. It was designed by left-libertarians, and based on the questions they've used it's pretty hard to score as authoritarian without being religious.

The places that they put political parties are pretty baffling to. There's no universe in which the Green Party is more liberal than the Liberal Democrats... the Tories are firmly on the right, but they could be further that way. Miliband's Labour were to the left of the DUP. I'd put the Greens in the same place as the SSP, the Lib Dems as liberal as the Greens currently, the Conservatives where Labour are, and Labour between the BNP and Sinn Fein (hahahaha).

Anyway, I've drifted a long way to the right since I last took this...

Yeah, I'm not sure how they've gone about placing the parties, but it stands to reason that most would be at least a little bit authoritarian.

Drifting left and right is fine. It's up you need to be wary of.

It's interesting because most quizzes like this put me pretty far to the left. I wonder if this quiz follows a different definition of "left" and "right"?

These things should be taken with a grain of salt, obviously.

:D

I think all the questions have a crucial option missing: "I don't give a s**t about this issue and the government should keep its filthy nose out of it".

Excellent stuff, Viper. I was considering doing the same, but you were way ahead of me.

We should all spare a thought for nurseangela, who can now be officially considered a PPR minority.

There's a definite pattern emerging and, though it should probably be taken with a pillar of salt, it seems that many people agree with their result.

I see multiple people on the left side of the chart who have been previously labelled "right wing" by other posters. Whether this suggests that some people have a skewed sense of "left" and "right" or, alternatively, it highlights that the terms themselves are nebulous and outdated, may be worthy of discussion.
