Buddhism is much more sensible than Christianity, to be honest.

that's because buddhism has a stronger focus on philosophy and a much much drastically weaker emphasis on theology.

My thoughts exactly.

If I had to choose a religion to believe in, it would be Buddhism. Even though I can't picture myself following ANY religion.

The real question is if you believe in life after death, those who don't believe in an afterlife are very unlikely to have one.

yes, is that the logic of Jesus Our Lard & Saviour ?

id rather have no after-life than have to spend it with sanctimonious w*kers.

Besides, i wasted life why shouldnt i waste death?

(sorry for the plagiarism)

The soul in itself is mortal. The spirit of eternal life comes from the eternal God who gives His spirit to those who believe. The spirit of eternal life is necessary for those who want to live in eternity. That's what I had in mind.

It's your life and your death, waste it as you like.

I hear it too; I think I should be quiet for a day or so.

jesus can cure: asperger's, autism, other forms of retardation, arthritis, the common cold, allergies, and cripples.

jesus refuses to cure: aids, cancer, any form of sexually transmitted disease, alzheimer's, or parkinson's.

jesus doesn't cure those because only evil wicked people get such diseases and as such is why they get such diseases and conditions. those who don't accept jesus christ are also doomed to forever have asperger's, autism, retardation, arthritis, the common cold, allergies, and will never walk.

those who accept jesus...well you still won't be cured but you'll imagine you feel better and feeling good about yourself is what counts in the end anyways. because you're already dead by the end so how you feel after that point doesn't mean jack.

Jesus died years ago. He can't cure anything.

I'd rather hang myself than convert to Christianity.

i am surprised by the arrogance here. why should you be right about the jesus thing? i am agnostic and i enjoy being myself, rather than following someone else's ideas. moreover, what is there to cure? i like myself the way i am. i prefer to be AS than being like most of the NT's i know. i love life, i enjoy waking up every day, i can say that life is beautiful and there is nothing to be changed. everything is the way i want it to be. and all of that without jesus.
btw, if there is afterlife, i prefer to be born again. i want to be challenged and have problems to overcome. that's the way we all learn how to live.
