A penny saved is a penny earned.

A penny for your thoughts.

Penny pincher.

I'm like a bad penny, I always turn up.

Penny loafers.

The penny dropped.

Penny wise and pound foolish.

In for a penny, in for a pound.

Pennies from heaven.

Doesn't have two pennies to rub together.

Doesn't have a cent to his name.

Not worth one red cent.

Alas.

Or perhaps we should just do away with Abe Lincoln and bring back Liberty.

I think they should start with not minting new pennies. There's plenty of them in circulation already to last awhile.

At some point, they won't have enough pennies to be able to make change. We need the rule about rounding off to the nearest nickel. It worked very smoothly; I was surprised.

But I will miss the taxpayer who pays his annual taxes with a dump-truck full of pennies.

So you let companies rob from you . Cause I'm willing to to bet the rounding is always in the stores favor.

Pulse 9.99,99.99 etc are great marketing ploys. However 9.95 doesn't work as well.

I flipped 100 pennies to 2 kids I was babysitting and it came out to exactly 50 pennies each. What a relief! Because if it didn't work, they would have cried.
