He is devoted to the Bible and the Constitution. He is certainly a traditional conservative.

That includes a lot of people. Most Americans uphold the constitution.

It was partly Christian Conservatives that brought in probation.Social Conservative can be interventionist.

I don't even think he thinks of himself as a traditional conservative.

He is a hack who make a lot of money out of his conspiracy show, and he plays at being a libertarian with conservative values.

They lobby for tax cuts of course. Don't be so naïve.

Another Thing: Purple text is hard to read. It's impossible for me to take you seriously as an intellectual.

I'm not talking about lobbying, I'm talking about how many of 'em start foundations for charity, so they can receive tax cuts----like, so many of the celebrities do, who are mostly DEMOCRATS, I might add.

It's difficult to really characterize billionaires in this day and age because you have a mix of old money and new money, old economy and new economy, and that makes for a very diverse group of people. A lot of billionaires do give a lot of money to various causes, but the most fruitful thing a billionaire can do with their money is to usually create many jobs that can "perpetually" pay living wages. Unfortunately though, there are few very rich individuals with the mindset of Henry Ford.

Billionaires excel at amassing wealth...that's how they became billionaires, and when they do not adjust their habits at a certain point, they become malignant, and a drain on the economy and standard of living, rather than a benefit to it. I submit as an example, Walmart. Walmart effectively monopolized small town economies, replacing often higher paying jobs at mom and pop shops, with their lower paying jobs, the employees of which often have to supplement their income with government assistance.

From a business perspective, this is great. Walmart spends less money on employment, leaving more money for shareholders. From a standard of living and economics perspective, this is horrible, and many claims about economics and standard of living break down.

The difference I see is the extreme proliferation of liberal hysteria, which has greatly eclipsed conservative hysteria.

The left has way eclipsed the right regarding this sort of thing in a very short amount of time.

This is why capitalism is great.

Lower prices raise the standard of living of all.

The Walmart workers can quit anytime they want.

So, it's a win for everyone, except the unproductive businesses you mentioned.

However, Amazon is going into the grocery delivery business (FEDEX, drone delivery) so Walmart isn't safe. From a productivity standpoint, in the internet age, having huge stores might be a mistake.

If Walmart goes out of business, we don't want to lament the loss of jobs, just because something superior came along. We should be thankful.

Scarecrow, I'm thinking yet another incarnation, is in order, as this one isn't any more intelligent, than the others----and, just as full of himself----and to think, you were a teenager, then, and it seems you haven't learned a thing, since.

Here's the thing..... You are not anywhere even CLOSE to being the first person to come on this site, who, presumably, thought they were special, because everybody in their little, in-person world, has told them so (because mostly everybody in their little world is NTs, who, generally speaking, don't put nearly the same amount of time, it seems, into studying / research, etc., and so they think we're super smart / "special")----but, when they get here, they find-out, that they're not so special, afterall, cuz everybody here has done as much (if not MORE) studying / research, etc. 'Course, there ARE those, like yourself, who choose to keep the dream alive, in their OWN mind (that they're special), no matter how many people tell them, differently (as many people, on here, have told you, for MANY years, now). Like I've said to others, on here, before: "Your ego lead you, to where your pride keeps you" (aka, stagnant / not growing).

I'm quite done with this part of the conversation, with you.

Many of them sold out for power and jumped aboard the Trump Train having a good idea that what has happened was going to happen but hoping against hope it was not going to be "so bad". There is nothing for them to do now but live what they preach, which is take the consequences for bad decisions. Actually, in this case, it was bad decision after bad decision spurred at first by the same wrong belief the progressives had, the Trump candidacy was a joke then when they realized that was not working hoping that they could modify Trump to become more "presidential".

My God, you're an idiot. Show me any mainstream, public conservative who believes these things. You're more hysterical than all conservatives on this board. Again, my God.
