Ok well on the splash mountain do you really care about thay part or can you put you mind past it to be ok with the ride. Idk I went to the California Disney land and yeah the splash mountain did not sit well so if they are reimagining it to something more relevant I don't see the problem. Like that ride as it was, was creepy I am glad about if they changed it up a bit.

Yes, I really care about that part -- it's one of my favorite Disneyland rides and Disneyland is a major special interest of mine -- and yes, I can put my mind past it. As mentioned, I like "Princess and the Frog" and it suits the theme of the area. What I liked about Splash Mountain was how it incorporated the thrill ride element into the story, building the suspense to the final drop. In the concept material that's been released so far, that element is absent in the new "Princess and the Frog" version of the ride, as there's no mention of any sort of villain, threat or suspense. It's about looking for a missing ingredient for Tabasco sauce. (No, really, that's the concept of the new ride.) However, I'll keep an open mind that it might be good. I was very skeptical of the Guardians of the Galaxy re-theme of Tower of Terror and I like that. However, I still miss Tower of Terror. My point is that I can do both.

I personally have never found Splash Mountain creepy, but I understand if other people do. That's a more coherent criticism to me than "if the physical ride doesn't change, it's not a change at all" and "anyone who liked the ride is an evil racist."
