Apparently the Golden Rule is being changed because some people are masochists or narcissists and want to be treated in ways that aren't healthy.

When I was a wise-ass 14 year old I used to have that thought. That "arent there folks who are masochists who want to be mistreated?" ergo doesnt that subvert the Golden Rule?"

But it doesnt REALLY subvert it. But apparently I wasnt the only person to get that notion.
