I think E-Sword is since it is free and has lots of good features and translations in many languages. It's fun to read the Bible in Spanish or German for me at least. What programs does everyone who uses software use and why do you like it?
My Aspie friend who moved away last year gave me E-Sword on my computer and I found it interesting but it seems to have disappeared off my desktop.

His mum also gave me a plain English Bible to read but it's been a while since I looked at it. The one that was popular when I was a teenager was Good News For Modern Man but in these PC times, it would have to be renamed to Good News For Modern People. The drawings were a bit dodgy but it was easy to understand and therefore often used in religious education in state schools.
