I suppose the above is when we all realise truth about being spied on, and deduce which is better or worse.

One thing that amuses me is how confidently some conspiracy theories are debunked without due process. Its always good to keep an open mind and listen to what is being claimed.
the UFO phenomena has been long pilloried and those claiming to be witnesses were caricatured as part of the tin foil hat brigade. then in 2017 the US airforce, CIA and NASA said, "yeah actually its all true, they exist and we don't know what they are, and we need the public's help".
For me it opens a can of worms about science/government and gatekeeping of truth. A lot of other claims are up for questioning whether ghosts, telepathy, life after death, consciousness, interdimensional or extra-terrestrial beings being mistaken for spirits or gods.

Ok let's take most debunked video ever taken, the Paterson Gimli Bigfoot video taken in 1967. Every man and his dog will claim it's just an overweight guy in a gorilla suit. In 2005 Bob Heironomus came forward to say he was the man in a gorilla suit. He was video taped copying the walk and everybody accepted the claim. Major universities published scathing critiques of researchers who spent years studying the film. the story should have been dead and bigfoot just another conspiracy.
And yet even in 2025 there's some mechanics about the so called guy in the gorilla suit that just doesn't make sense.
and yes, try walking with a 72 degree shin gait angle to the ground...good luck
So kids, the moral of the story don't assume we are clever and know everything.
