I had heard a Gallup(?) poll said that more people in the USA believed that HaSatan exists than those who believe that God exists. That is just dumb in my opinion.

Really? Is that accurate? I thought it was the other way around.

That maybe true. But at the same time I've heard alot of Christians and Jews do not believe in Hell either. I guess the logic being the wicked cease to exists.

Jesus talks about hell and the Tanakh calls it Sheol. The people who say there isn't are trying to make Christianity look less offensive to people who make up their own "ideals" of what God should be like.

Speaking of own ideals...If you look at the concept of hell in the sources you mention, I do believe there is one very large difference in what the preachers have turned it into. Why do you think that might be?

Jesus also mentioned a little secret to Mary (not mom) about hell. He said God had told him. Care to comment? Care to refute it? Remember the sources, Jesus and God his self.

lol Caps don't bait me, find it yourself. You already mentioned one source, read it.

Here's a clue though. She asked Him (Jesus) what about all the people in hell, before His coming.

I am not baiting by asking for a reference and I don't remember anything like that in the Bible. Are you mixing things or referring to the ficticious book and movie by Dan Brown?

There are more than one views on who to compare God with, such as, what if I said that God is more like Gustavus Adolphus than Sodom Hussein?

Which is to say that he murdered people for
religion, rather than for personal power?

Why would God need religion?

well he's 80 something, i think its more important for older people, one foot in the grave and all. why wouldn't he opt for a god concept? he's having an each way bet. Flagg and greenblue will probably decide there is a god when they're in their 80s too.

PS parakeet and any others interested, there's a christian apserger's forum on delphi forums. I forgot about that one.
