Only if they send some female prison guards from Abu Graihb along to spice things up. Who knows? the Iyotallah might enjoy it.

Let's have a look:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruel_and ... punishment

The "essential predicate" is "that a punishment must not by its severity be degrading to human dignity", especially torture.
I don't see any dignity or torture issue here. It's just a robust way of deporting somebody.

"A severe punishment that is obviously inflicted in wholly arbitrary fashion." (Furman v. Georgia temporarily suspended capital punishment for this reason.)
They'd probably have to do something similar to anybody else who had behaved monstrously, but that can be arranged.

"A severe punishment that is clearly and totally rejected throughout society."
I doubt it would be clearly and totally rejected.

"A severe punishment that is patently unnecessary."
Unnecessary? I suppose a simpler death penalty would do just as well, and it wouldn't be as expensive.

I'd probably be a bit more serious if there was any chance that my opinions were going to be acted on. We're just having a laugh here, right?

Death penalty it is, we wouldn't want to inflict cruel and unusual punishment on him, despite his cruel and unusual nature.

Apparently calling out evil is the real evil in some people's myopic eyes.

yes but isn't it quite a bit hotter.

Closer means cheaper. There's the waste-cutting we need.

You don't need to build a rocket to bring Musk to justice. You could just stop by the Home Depot and pick up a sledgehammer for $40. If you want to give Musk a final chuckle you could pick up the 14 lb Klein Tools brass sledge for $420.

Just make sure to wear proper PPE while using your sledgehammer on oligarchs. Safety should always be a top priority.

the most we mere mortals can do is leave them all to the devil who owns them already.

Venus is the Love Planet, so we shouldn't send him there. Mars is the War Planet where all the rubbery monsters live, so he'll fit right in.

And while we're at it, send Trump to the sun. Just tell him he'll be going at night when it'll be safe.

True, that is a good idea.
