It's like "I'm so unreligious, I don't even believe in the belief of not believing".

we already have one of these threads don't we?

anyway, not wishing to be picky but actually there is no religion called 'Islamic'; it's either Islam or a person is a Muslim, either would do in this case

which is what I am but I sometimes answer to 'Sufism' as well, as that describes where I am in the Islamic spectrum (to coin a phrase)

I'm a (theologically eccentric) Pagan. And going by previous threads on this topic, I think there are probably enough pagans on here to merit our own poll option.

As for the Witness/Christian debate, while they are certainly quite theologically different from mainstream christianity, I don't think that's the same as not being a branch of christianity. Perhaps making the christianity choices "Catholic" "Protestant" and "Other - Christianity based" where the latter could include things like Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Christian Scientists, and the other sects that are based on the christian scriptures but have additional scriptures/a radically different interpretation?

Ok, let me note, the poll can't be changed once it's been posted (at least to my knowledge...), so we're stuck with my choices however inadequate :P

Its a poor definition of atheist.

I don't "not belive in god" I have no reason to belive that a "god" exists.

Still atheism but not the same statement intellectually.

BTW you left out pagan, or at least Wiccan, and atheist is spelled with a ei.

Well I consider myself agonostic.

I do believe in god, I just don't think mankind is capable of understanding god.

I also don't believe that anyone could write an acurate account of God.

I was raised atheist and have been for most of my life, but lately I have been finding that there's something to be said for prayer & meditation, and I feel like I've become more mentally healthy and kinder because of it. But I still find it impossible to really treat religion as much more than an escapist fantasy, albeit a necessary one that helps you to find the reemphasize the more human parts of yourself. And I probably always will. I put Agnostic because that seemed the closest fit, but I don't really care what I'm labelled as, personally.

I know some of the differences between Jehovah's Witness and the other kinds of Christianity. A few of them are major, and I'd also rather not list them. For future reference, "Christian Denomination" would make a good catchall option. I still don't know if I think JW should be included or not.

Jehovah's witnesses do have a different Bible, I know because they gave me one. It's different in translation. I use to compare it to my bible but that was years ago. F.Y.I I'm a Christian my church is non-denominational, but when you walk into a church and they beat a tamborine, dance and have lots of musical instruments, or would if they could, then you tend to be labeled Pentecostal, so I guess I'm Pentecostal. We really get into Psalms 150.
