What about Scotch whiskey? Love that stuff, cuz one sip goes a long way. It's also good for when I have a sore throat.

But ya, I drink fine beers. I'm either not American or not Christian! :o

Actually, they say that if you are planning to invite a Baptist friend to go fishing with you, then you had better be sure to bring a second Baptist along with you. The reason being that if you bring one Baptist, then he will drink all of your beer, but if you bring two Baptists, then he won't drink any of your beer.

I was raised as an American christian and i've never so much as heard the idea that American Christians don't drink beer. I can easily point out several hundred american christians who do. And that's without even trying to find them

Well, you are from Suds-bury.

LOL panda

Suds-bury is one of the nicknames of my town. I'm not sure what the local per capita beer drinking is but I know we're not too far behind Prague and Munich

I'm an American and a Christian. I'll had beer but don'y really drink it only because I don't care for the taste, but my dad drinks beer and is an American Christan and I know many others who do as well.
Personally I read this as the Australin Prime Minister saying if you live in Australia you must follow Australian law not Sharia (Islamic law of which there are several types and interpretations). I totally agree with this. You must abide by the laws of the country you live in; you can believe whatever you want and worship in your own way but to live peacefully and orderly in a country you must respect its laws.

I am in complete agreement with him. Australian nation, Australian secular, not foreign religious laws.

If you are American, and you drink beer, then it means that you belong to one of those fake denominations. You're not a real Christian.

Australian -- isn't the immigration test to be able to drink a 6-pack of Foster's without passing out?

Who are you to judge who is Christian and who isn't? Christian simply means one who belives in Christ or follower of Christ. As Jesus never forbid alcohol, in fact he drank wine, its not against Christianity to drink beer. Some Christians don't and cite faith as a reason, nothing is wrong with that. But to accuse other of not being Christian because they drink beer, whether your Christian or not is wrong. Don't force your beliefs of what my faith should be on me and I will not force mine on you. This should be a standard principle.
