Who gets to decide who is a "true" and a "false" American?

True Americans would die to save the lives of their countrymen. Like the men who fought in the Civil and Revolutionary War. If I had a gun on me, everyone would know they were safe.

No offence, but I think you need stronger medication.

A farce should be funny, but I haven't laughed yet.

People with AS may have problems with humor and stuff. I just thought it was funny how frankly monty responded and even before this I kinda think the op is just toying with us all. But just the seriousness of monty with how the op is behaving was funny to me.

I wouldn't feel safe with anyone, including myself, carrying a firearm. Well, maybe a police officer.

I don't see why you feel the necessity to say that. Perhaps it's because certain members of the social elite, here, have made their disdain for 777 clear, and so you feel safe to join the pack. Am I right? The guy has made same perfectly valid points. However, they are conveyed in a patriotic way that may irk certain leftists and liberals who believe we should all live in a politically-correct police-state stripped of any national pride or identity, where the only people allowed to carry arms are the commissars.

You have to take into account the people who own more than one firearm.
There are many people who collect firearms as one would collect coins, stamps, etc. These are not for shooting, but for their historical value and financial value.

There are also athletes who own several firearms for the various disciplines they participate in.

There are also hunters who hunt a variety of animals which require different types of firearms.

There are people who use firearms in their jobs, who might own several firearms because of this also.

Not necessarily. I just think he's a fruitcake. That's a different thing altogether from the right to bear arms, which I may or may not agree with. (FWIW I think the police system in this country is a disgrace and we need some Gene Hunt-style policing.)

Yes, I own three firearms (but there are three people in my household, so that is around the 1 per person ratio). But one friend of my is a shooting enthusiast and has quite a few more than I do, while I know several people that own none. But most people that want firearms own them - I do think the market is relatively saturated. Talk of a ban might scare some people who own 5 or 10 guns into buying a few more.

You are a force for good, ascan. I am constantly reminded that even though I do seem radical, there are people who will defend me, even at the risk of losing their good name. Be not mistaken, the world will hate me. But now I do have some credibility, because now, I'm not alone.

I've got to remember that line. You never know when it might come in handy.

No one can deny my influential contribution.
